Lifetime Warranty Policy

IRONBACKPACK® Lifetime Warranty

Every IRONBACKPACK® is built to survive daily heavy use — gym, commute, travel, and the field. We back that build with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Our gear is constructed from 900D high-density polyester, with reinforced, double-stitched stress points and hardware rated for daily load. If a defect shows up in the materials or the way it was made, we will repair or replace it — free of charge, at our discretion.

This warranty covers defects. It does not cover normal wear and tear.

What's Covered

  • Seams or stitching that fail under normal use
  • Zippers, buckles, or hardware that break due to a manufacturing fault
  • Fabric or coating defects present from the start
  • Straps or panels that separate because of a workmanship defect

Warranty Eligibility

This warranty applies only to products purchased through official IRONBACKPACK® channels:

  • ironbackpack.com (our official website)
  • The Shop App (official IRONBACKPACK® storefront)

Products bought through unauthorized sellers — resale platforms, auction sites, marketplaces, or any third party not listed above — are not eligible for warranty coverage.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser or a verified gift recipient.

What's Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear — worn fabric, velcro fatigue, loose threads, snagged mesh, scuffed hardware, pulled zipper tabs
  • Improper use or care — prolonged moisture or sun exposure, misuse, overloading beyond intended capacity
  • Machine washing — bags run through a washing machine are not covered
  • Airline or courier mishandling
  • Lost waist or sternum straps
  • Animal damage
  • Cosmetic marks that do not affect function
  • Damage from modifications or third-party repairs

How to Submit a Claim

If you believe your gear qualifies, email support@ironbackpack.com with:

  1. A short description of the issue
  2. Clear photos of the defect
  3. Your order number or valid proof of purchase

Once your claim is approved, we'll send you the next steps.

  • The customer is responsible for shipping the item to us. Claims must be received within 7 days of authorization.
  • Use a trackable and insured service (e.g. UPS or FedEx). IRONBACKPACK® is not liable for lost or damaged shipments in transit.

Claim Resolution

  • Warranty coverage applies to the same item only.
  • If the item is no longer available, we issue a gift card equal to the original purchase price.
  • In some cases, a partial gift card may be issued depending on the condition of the item and the nature of the claim.
  • Accepting a replacement or gift card fully resolves the claim. The warranty cannot be reused for the same issue.
