    One gym backpack for the whole day

    A gym backpack has one job: carry training gear and everything else you need that day without mixing the two. Most fail at the second part. They hold a pair of shoes and a towel, then you add a laptop and a meal and you are carrying two bags.

    IronBackpack packs are 45L. That is 20" × 12" × 12" of structured space with five compartments, a padded sleeve for a laptop up to 17", and two side holders for 750 ml bottles or shakers. The pack opens flat to 180°, so nothing hides at the bottom.

    What size gym backpack do I need?

    Count what you carry. Shoes, a towel and a bottle fit in 20 to 25L. Add a lifting belt, a change of clothes and a shaker and you need about 30L. Add a laptop and a meal and you are at 40L or more. IronBackpack packs are 45L for that last case.

    Is 45L too big for a gym backpack?

    It is big on purpose. The pack measures 20" × 12" × 12" and is built for people who carry training gear and work gear together. If you go to the gym with shoes and a bottle only, 45L is more than you need and a smaller pack will serve you better.

    Where do shoes go in the pack?

    In one of the two main compartments, away from clean clothes and the laptop sleeve. The Pro 45L does not have a vented, isolated shoe pouch. For full separation, put shoes in a water-repellent shoe bag first. The set of three is washable, which a sewn-in pocket is not.

    Does it fit a 17-inch laptop?

    Yes. The Pro 45L and the Thermal 45L both have a dedicated padded compartment that fits laptops up to 17 inches. It sits apart from the main gear compartments, so a damp towel or a pair of shoes never touches the device.

    Is the backpack waterproof?

    It is water-resistant. The 900D rip-proof fabric handles light rain and locker-room splashes. It is not rated for heavy, sustained rain or for being submerged. If you walk or ride to the gym in bad weather, carry the rain cover sized for 45L packs.

    What does the warranty cover?

    The Pro 45L carries a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. That means faults in materials or stitching that come from how the pack was made. The build is meant to make claims rare: triple-stitched seams, YKK zippers, 900D rip-proof fabric, and a load test to 20 kg / 44 lb.
