Gymreapers is best known for lifting accessories: belts, straps and sleeves. The Gravestone is its backpack, and it is built for the same buyer: a lifter who carries real kit. We make the Pro 45L, so read this with that in mind. Every number below comes from the brand pages, checked October 2026.

Where the Gravestone wins
- A vented shoe pocket. Bottom access, its own space, airflow. The Pro 45L does not have one. Shoes go in a main compartment inside a sealed shoe bag.
- An exterior belt compartment. Your belt goes in without opening the main bag.
- TPU coating. A coated face fabric is built to shed water.
- Bigger bottle pocket. Up to 32 oz against 750 ml (about 25 oz) on the Pro 45L.
- Review count. 181 reviews on one product page is a real track record.
- Slimmer profile. At 7.75 inches deep it takes less space on your back and in a locker.
Where the Pro 45L wins
- Capacity. 45 liters against 35. That is a laptop and a meal prep container on top of a full lifting kit.
- 17-inch laptop. The Gravestone stops at 16.
- Price. $88 less at the prices we saw.
- A published warranty. Limited lifetime.
- Identity. A MOLLE panel and a patch panel, with two patches in the box. Read how the velcro patch panel works.
- Clamshell opening. The bag opens flat to 180°. Read clamshell gym backpack.

FAQ
How big is the Gymreapers backpack?
The Gymreapers Gravestone backpack is listed at 35 liters and measures 20 by 12.75 by 7.75 inches. It has a padded pocket for a 16-inch laptop and a vented bottom shoe pocket of 8 by 13 by 8 inches. Gymreapers lists four colors: Onyx, Gunmetal, Desert Sand and OD Green.
Does the Gymreapers Gravestone have a shoe compartment?
Yes. It has a bottom-access, vented shoe pocket measuring 8 by 13 by 8 inches, separate from the main compartment. That is one of its main advantages over packs that store shoes in a main compartment with a shoe bag, such as the IronBackpack Pro 45L.
How much does the Gymreapers backpack cost?
The Gymreapers US site listed the Gravestone backpack at $188 as a sale price when we checked in October 2026. The UK site listed it at £146. Prices change with sales, so check the brand site for the current price before you buy.
Is there a cheaper alternative to the Gymreapers backpack?
The IronBackpack Pro 45L costs $99.95 and carries 45 liters against the Gravestone's 35, with a padded compartment for laptops up to 17 inches and a limited lifetime warranty. It does not have a vented shoe pocket or an exterior belt compartment. Choose by which of those features matters more to you.
Is the Gymreapers backpack waterproof?
Gymreapers describes the Gravestone body fabric as 900D polyester with a TPU coating for water resistance. Water-resistant fabric sheds light rain and sweat. Zippers and seams can still let water in during heavy rain, so treat it as water-resistant, not waterproof, unless the brand states a waterproof rating.
45 liters. 17-inch laptop. $99.95.
