When a duffle beats a backpack
A backpack wins on the daily commute. A duffle wins when the load gets long and awkward: a second pair of shoes, a foam roller, a full change of kit for a competition day. The 50L Training Duffle gives you one wide opening and 5L more than the 45L packs.
Backpack straps hide in a rear compartment. Pull them out when you have a long walk from the car park. Tuck them away when you check the bag.

What is in the bag
A waterproof pocket takes wet or sweaty items. Inner mesh pockets hold small gear. MOLLE webbing and hook-and-loop panels on the outside take pouches and patches. Two patches and a detachable shoulder strap come in the box.

Frequently asked questions
Can a gym duffle bag be worn as a backpack?
This one can. The 50L Training Duffle has padded shoulder straps stored in a hidden rear compartment. Pull them out and it carries on your back. It also has handles and a detachable shoulder strap, so you can carry it by hand or across the body.
Is the 50L duffle carry-on size?
Check your airline first. The bag measures 29" × 11" × 13.4", and many US airlines list 22" as the maximum carry-on length. It is soft-sided and packs down when it is not full, but a fully loaded 50L duffle may need to be checked.
What size shoes fit in the duffle's shoe compartment?
The built-in shoe compartment fits up to men's US size 14 lifting shoes, boots or trainers. It is separate from the main compartment, so soles do not touch clean clothes. A waterproof pocket handles wet or sweaty items on the way home.
Should I get the duffle or the 45L backpack?
Get the backpack if you carry a laptop every day. It takes devices up to 17 inches and rides better on a commute. Get the duffle if you travel to compete or carry bulky kit. It holds 50L, opens wide, and has a sewn-in shoe compartment.
